Foster Care Resource Requirements:
Fill out application, schedule an initial consultation, begin home study paperwork, attend 32 hours of preservice training, complete home study. Licensor will need to come to the home.
Training (Education and Training):
- 32 Hours of Pre Service Training is required as well as ongoing training. Pre-service training includes: Orientation, Licensing and Medical Policy, Abuse and Neglect, Impact of Abuse on Development, Attachment, Grief and Loss, Discipline and Stress Mgmt., Adoption and Permanency, Cultural Issues and Primary Families.
