In addition to the basic foster care rate (see below), there is a Supplemental portion which is specific to identified needs of the child, and an Exceptional portion of the rate that is flexible to cover costs in excess or not covered by other funds.

Foster Care Resource Requirements:
Training (Education and Training):
- Preplacement Training: Level I&II = 6 hours/Level III = 36 hours
Initial Licensing Training: Level I = 0/Level II = 30 hours/Level III = 24 hours
Ongoing Training: Level I = 0/Level II = 10 hours/Level III = 18 hours each 12 yr period
